Fiona turns 2!

On Saturday Fiona turned two! A lot of people have commented how fast the time has gone. For me it seems just about right. Over this past year she has turned into a right we character.

We decided against the big "nuclear arms race" birthday party and settled for having Bob and Marty round.

As you can see from the pictures, Fiona definitely gets what cake is all about, but I was pleased to see she didn't go mad and try to eat it all at once.

Marty finished Fiona's quilt which has Marty's and Fiona's handprint in the corner. Alexander has a similar one. Bob and Marty's main gift to the wee lass was pure genius. A collection of old family beads and a hat. Add a ballet skirt from her Mom and Fiona was dressed to the nines, undressed, dressed again etc.

We also got her a wee slide which is proving a big hit in the garden.
