Getting in the Cultural Swim

Rain stopped play this morning so my parents took us to the pub which has a children's indoor climbing frame.

After lunch we headed over to Cambridge to go swimming. I dropped Dena off at the shopping center where she met up with Zogger and Ylinn for afternoon tea.

At the pool Alexander and I went to get changed. At this point I started to feel there was something missing. After we had gotten our swimming trunks on, I realized we had no towels! Back at reception they looked surprised and told me that they most certainly did not rent towels, but that I could buy one for 15 pounds! I swallowed hard and decided that being Scottish we could improvise.

One hour later we joined Dena, Zogger and Ylinn minus certain non-visible items of clothing that had served as towels.

After a manic shopping experience where I got new sandals in 5 minutes at half the price they were last year, we dropped off Zogger and Ylinn and headed over to Andrew and Gills for dinner and an overnight stay. Andrew and I shot the breeze into the wee hours.
