Morning At Kames

Here is the view from the kitchen door of our cottage at Kames Castle. We arrived around 8:30pm and were met by the castle's house keeper, Alison, Richard and Phoebe who are staying down by the castle in another cottage.

The cottage is built into the wall of the walled garden and is quite spacious. Alexander intially loved it, until whilst cooking dinner I set fire to the garlic bread, filled the house with smoke and set off the smoke detector. After that he was somewhat more circumspect of our new locaton.
