Vassilis does Vasilis

This past few weeks we have had a Greek geek visiting our office... Vassilis came over from ARM Cambridge to help get some software adopted by the folk I have been dealing with over here. He was a great help but also a great guy to hang out with. Last weekend we took him over the hill to Vassilis our favorite weekend lunch spot as well as Mr. Toots and Scott Creek beach.

I also managed to get to the Computer History Musuem for the first time. Yes it is just 5 minutes drive from the office but I had never been- trust a tourist to get me there! It was really fun to see all the computers from yesteryear including a fully functional Analytical Engine built to Babbages exact specification. Time was short so I didn't get to see it in action this trip, but I'll definitely go and see it next week.
