Mrs. B. of Bourn's Bad Back Begets Broadside

We finally made it over to Mrs. B's. We were told early in the vacation that she had hurt her back. So before visiting I enquired by telephone of her husband how she was. He told me that she had a lot of difficulty getting out of bed in the morning, was unable to lift anything and pretty much spent most her waking ours in a chair.

"Yes, but has her bad back affected her in any way?" I enquired.
