Seeing an old friend in passing

Sailing back to the mainland I passed an old friend- the Waverly. Now a tourist attraction as the "last ocean going paddle steamer in the world." Of course in my day she was just another aquatic bus to be used from trips to the mainland to buy shoes and the like. But she always was and still is an elegant bus.
