10 Years On...

This Presidents Day weekend Bob and Marty invited us to stay with them at Pajaro Dunes. It amazing to think that just over 10 years ago my girlfriend bought me a vacation here and after confirming that she:
a) Wanted kids
b) Didn't want half-a-dozen of them

I asked her to marry me in our rented Condo at Pajaro Dunes.

And 10 years ago on this very day my then girlfriend said YES!

The rest as they say is history. But it is a history that I love being part of.

10 years on, we are happily married with the correct number of children, wondering what the plan should be for the next 10 years. We reckon it will pretty much be more of the same with us eventually freeing up a little from the children to enjoy vacations and trips on our own. The last time we had a trip on our own brought us Fiona!

This trip gave us the chance to chill out and have some time together: Bob and Marty taking over where we left off.

Alexander has really enjoyed our time here. He remembered it immediately and got straight to work wearing Bob and me out, with ball games, Frisbee, sand castles, walks and hole digging. Since it was a vacation weekend we let him watch TV which has been a welcome rest bite allowing me to do such things as read, write and publish this.
