Thanksgiving

This year we decided to do our usual Thanksgiving Dinner with Dena's parents and our Canadian friends Sian, Ralph and Ella. Unfortunately it was not to be as at 5:00am on Thanksgiving day Dena woke up with stomach flu. We had to cancel our plans and I ended up making buying a chicken and making a mini dinner for me and the kids. Poor Dena was so ill she hardly made it out of bed the whole day. To make matters worse the dishwasher packed up again and so now we have to do all our dishes by hand.



The next day I took the kids to the beach leaving Dena to rest and by dinner time she was ready for me to cook the turkey. It was a monster bird and all I can say is I was glad to be heading to the UK the next day and not to have to endure turkey and chips, turkey and mash, turkey curry and turkey and turkey for the next few days.
