Unhappy Pupil

Here he is on his first day beside the lovely sign. He didn't exactly take to 1st grade. Things got so bad the principal of Van Meter had to drag him out of Dena's car one time. I stepped in with the Yellow Sportscar and loud rock music and that seemed to work, much to Dena's annoyance: "How come you can get him to go?"

In the end (or at least for now) empowering the wee man with $2.50 for his choice of school lunch seems to have done the trick.
