Joan at 80!

My mother made it to 80 this weekend! It has been a tough struggle for her, but she made it and I am proud of her and I love her. As luck would have it I was due to be in the Cambridge the week of Feb 26th so I managed to turn up at a pub in Kettering at lunchtime Sat. Feb 24th and surprise her out of the blue. I am so lucky that I can do that kind of stuff sometimes. A fun weekend was had by all and I think my being there added a little something to her birthday to remember.
