Meanwhile back in Los Gatos...

The weekend was the annual Christmas Parade and both kids got the chance to appear in it. Alexander as a member of his Scout Pack, pulling and riding on a wooden go-cart (which luckily I had had time to re-enforce with proper bolts before I let) and Fiona on her tricycle as part of her pre-school.
The annual parade is a big event which lasts all morning and into the afternoon. Poor Dena was run ragged between the two kids making sure they were suitably fed, watered and decked out.
