Tahoe with Sian, Ralph and Ella

After my exciting time Austin I needed a break and this took the form of a long weekend at Dena's Aunt Bonnies house on the Truckee river near Tahoe. School been started for just a week which meant that as usual the teacher went off on a 1 day training class for the Friday which gave us all a 3 day weekend. The traffic was absolute Hell and as you might imagine I was a rather nervous passenger. However when we got there all was well and Sian cooked us a great curry for our first meal of the trip.



We took our bikes and had a great time riding up to Squaw valley on the Saturday and all they way to Tahoe City on the Sunday- a round trip of over 11 miles which amazed us. Alexander certainly slept in the car on the way back.
