Java One (more time)
This week I am off to the Java One conference in San Francisco. I’ve been looking forward to this for some time. The Java Platform is one of my favorite programming mediums, far more interesting to me that all the bits and bytes of embedded. I’ve decided to take the train each day and leave the car down in the San Jose area. Parking at the light rail station off Bascom Ave <15 minutes from our house proved to be really straightforward and from there it’s a short light rail journey to San Jose railroad station where I can catch the “Baby Bullet” train to the San Francisco. Is it quicker than the car? Probably about the same if not a bit longer but I can work on the train and arrive in the city feeling relaxed rather than stressed which is always a good thing.
