Going to Tokyo

It's a while since I flew economy and sitting at the back of plane sandwiched between two other Japanese guys quietly waging war for occupation of the arm rests for 10 hours wasn't fun.

Amazingly enough it's been 5 years since I was here, but I still managed to navigate the rail system taking ever smaller trains to my destination and finally arriving within 100 yards of my hotel in a suburb of Tokyo.

I quickly got into my comfort zone finding the "Book Off!" bookstore and coffee shop across the road that served up cappachino, mini pizzas and free wifi just like back home.
